In one line

Mileline collects no data. Everything you enter stays on your phone.

What the app holds

Your contract details, odometer readings, reminders and photos are stored in the app's own database and folder on your device. There is no account, no server and no cloud copy, and the app makes no network calls of its own.

Photos

Photos you take or choose for the car record are copied into the app's own folder. They are not added to your photo library. Deleting all data in the Contract tab, or deleting the app, removes them.

Exports

You can export your data or a photo set as a zip or PDF. That only happens when you tap Export, the file goes where you send it through your phone's share sheet, and I never see it.

Mileline Pro

The optional one-time purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store, or by Google through Google Play. I receive no payment details and no account details. The app only learns, from the store on your device, that the purchase was made.

Reminders

Reminders are local notifications created on your phone. No push service and no push token are used.

Analytics and tracking

None. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking. I do not collect, receive or sell any data about you or your use of the app.
